This incredible educational experience will take girls on an exploration of the unique Everglades habitat. In the morning the girls will be trekking by airboat across Marjory Stoneman Douglas’s famous “River of Grass.” There are many animals to see and surprises around every corner. After lunch everyone will go slogging in the Sawgrass and an investigation of resident invertebrates. Must bring lunch, snacks and drinks.Date: Saturday, December 13, 2008
